The Author

Minh Trinh, PhD

Minh Trinh is a senior quantitative analyst based in New York who has worked in financial services for well over a decade. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique (France) and Harvard University, where he received his PhD in economics.

He is the author of the Artificial Intelligence Handbook Series, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence Finance, and the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence Agents series. His free lecture series on YouTube draw directly from his research and writing.

Rodeo AI

Rodeo AI applies data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to financial services and economic institutions. There are many digital transformation companies, but few which sit at the intersection of economics, finance, and machine learning. At Rodeo AI, we use the insights of economics to build better machine learning models.

Rodeo is from the Spanish verb rodear — to surround. One aim is to round up and tame machine learning and artificial intelligence. There is also AI in cattle, but it is not the same thing (Google it!) — or sometimes it is.
